RAPID CITY, S.D. – Police in Rapid City are looking into a Friday night incident in which several shots were fired.
Police say on On December 27th at around 9:20 p.m., they were dispatched to a business in the 800 block of Jackson Blvd. for reports of gunshots.
It was initially reported the gunshots were coming from the 1800 block of W. Fulton Street, however, the investigation determined the gunfire originated from the 1300 block of Skyline Dr., where several spent shell casings were located, and the rounds struck the 800 block of Jackson Blvd.
RCPD says fortunately, no one was injured by what they called “extremely dangerous and criminal behavior..”
Detectives are actively investigating this incident and using all investigative means to hold the suspect(s) responsible for their actions, and we will provide an update as the investigation unfolds.
