RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police say 29-year-old Isaiah Murcado of Rapid City has been taken into custody for aggravated assault in relation to Saturday’s early morning shooting near Main Street and 9th Street.
Shortly before 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Rapid City Police officers responded to reports of shots fired at the intersection of Main Street and 9th Street.
On arrival, they found a man who had been shot and suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital.
Police say the shooting appears to be the result of a fight between two parties who had been at a nearby bar.
It remains under investigation.
