RAPID CITY, S.D. — A 46-year-old Rapid City woman has died after a motorcycle crash on Sunday.
According to the Rapid City Police Department, the crash happened around 7:25 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Highway 16 and Catron Boulevard. Police found the downed motorcycle and unconscious woman in the grass nearby.
A man was the operator of the motorcycle and he told officers that he was northbound on Highway 16 and tried to turn east on Catron Boulevard when he lost control of the motorcycle.
The woman was transported to the hospital where she later died. She has been identified as 46-year-old Cari Wagner of Rapid City. Wagner died at the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
