Rapid City Police seek help locating person of interest in shooting investigation

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Police in Rapid City remain on the lookout for a woman they’d like to talk to in regards to a Monday morning shooting.

Police on Friday announced they are looking for 23-year-old Dominique Brave of Rapid City as part of their investigation into a shooting that sent a male subject to the hospital.

The incident occurred in the 3900 block of Point West Place. First responders arrived to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victim’s vehicle was located a short distance away with damage consistent with being shot at. Police continue to investigate the incident.

An anonymous text can also be submitted by texting the letters ‘RCPD’ and the information to 847411.
