WACONIA, Minn. – The Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats opened up play at the Gopher Classic with an 8-0 loss to New Ulm.
The Gold jumped out a 4-0 lead after the first inning and added 1 in the third and three in the fourth.
Sam Keckeisen led the Gold with 3 R.B.I.
Ryker Henne had 3 hits for Post 22, who were unable to get anybody home. Bransen Kuehl took the loss, going 4 innings and striking out 6 batters.
