Rapid City Post 22 rolls to 9-2 victory over Gillette

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Post 22 got a 9-2 win over Gillette Wednesday night, handing the Riders just their second loss of the season.

The Hardhats capitalized on seven Gillette errors as four different players combined for eight stolen bases in the nine-inning affair.

Palmer Jacobs got the pitching win for Post 22, going five innings, allowing two hits and striking out three.

Peyton Tipton helped lead the Hardhats offensively, going 2 for 4 with two runs.
