WACONIA, Minn. – Rapid City Post 22 wrapped up play in Minnesota Sunday with two wins.
In their first game, the Hardhats beat Waconia Post 150 16-4.
Post 22 scored 5 runs right away in the first inning and added 8 more in the second to take a commanding lead.
Luke Jegeris led Post 22 with 3 hits and 2 R.B.I.
Bransen Kuehl and Ryker Henne each had 3 R.B.I.
In their second game Sunday, the Hardhats held off Creighton Prep 8-6.
The game was tied heading into the seventh inning when Post 22 took the lead by scoring three runs and holding off a late Blue Jay rally.
Drew Scherbenske helped lead Post by scoring 3 hits and 2 R.B.I.
Jake Goble added a pair of R.B.I. for the Hardhats.
