RAPID CITY, S.D. – Both Rapid City Post 320 and Post 22 wrapped up the regular season over the weekend.
The Stars hosted Sioux Falls East in a doubleheader at Pete Lien Field.
Post 320 rallied to win the first game, 10-6. But then Sioux Falls East bounced back to win the second game, 18-11.
The Stars enter the postseason with a 31-16 record.
Meanwhile, Post 22 closed out the regular season on Saturday with a pair of wins over Sioux Falls West.
The Hardhats downed West 14-3 before wrapping up the day with a 7-1 victory.
Post 22 improves to 36-23 on the season.
Post 22 earns an automatic berth in the state tournament, as they are the host team.
The Class ‘A’ Legion baseball playoffs are set to begin in on Friday, July 22 across the state.
The State Tournament starts July 27th.
