UNDATED – Rapid City Post 320 dropped a pair of games in Saturday Legion baseball action – one to Gillette, the other to the Billings Scarlets.
In their game against Gillette, the Stars lost 12-2. Gillette jumped on the Stars early, scoring 2 runs in the first inning. They would add another 4 runs in the second and an additional 4 runs in the third.
Post 320 scored both of their runs in the second.
Cory Schilling led Gillette with 2 hits and 2 R.B.I.
Jace Wetzler took the pitching loss for Post 320.
In the second game, the Scarlets and Stars got into a pitching duel, where Billings advanced the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
James Rogers pitched strong innings, only to take the loss for the Stars. He struck out five batters.
H. Doyle had the winning R.B.I. for the Scarlets.
