SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens won the State A Wrestling dual championship Friday night at the South Dakota State Wrestling Tournament in Sioux Falls.
Stevens defeated Harrisburg 40-28 in the semifinals and headed to the championship, where they beat Watertown 37-25.
Watertown had earned their trip to the dual championship with a 35-21 win over Pierre.
Pierre won third place with a 35-20 win over Harrisburg.
At the State B Dual championship, Canton took top honors with a 49-23 victory over Winner.
Canton advanced to the championship with a 43-27 victory over Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes.
Winner defeated Redfield to earn the championship berth with a 52-21 win over Redfield.
Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes took third place defeating Redfield 51-16.
