RAPID CITY, S.D. – Fire crews in Rapid City responded to wildfire at Cavern Crest Estates Saturday afternoon.
The fre had burned some 3 acres at last report as fire crews stopped the forward progress of the fire.
The fire did momentarily threaten a half dozen structures.
Fire crews were hampered by dry, windy conditions in fighting the blaze.
The fire’s cause was under investigaton.
