RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Mayor Jason Salamun has unveiled his 2025 budget.
Salamun says the general fund budget is just over $104.2 million dollars, which is a 4.4% increase over 2024.
Salamun announced some significant fund allocations, including more than $1.2 million to Care Campus, $200,000 to Cornerstone Rescue Mission, and $28,000 for development initiatives in Main Street Square.
The total 2025 proposed city budget totals $340,493,766. That is a 29.3% increase from 2024’s budget.
