RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police say they are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the area of Memorial Park Sunday.
Police say they were called to the area for a report of an unresponsive male and upon arrival, they located the man’s body.
Police say due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, the Criminal Investigations Division has been called to carry out the investigation into the man’s death.
In a social media post, police say there is no reason to believe there is any ongoing public safety threat at this time.
