RC Police investigating second shooting in as many days

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A day after a shooting killed one and injured two others, Rapid City Police are looking into a second shooting that happened early Wednesday morning.

Police say at approximately 4:25 a.m. on October 2, they responded to a call about an injured man near E. North Street and Pine Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the man had been shot.

Police report he was conscious and alert as medical personnel transported him to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities are investigating the scene and searching for witnesses or evidence.
