RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police say a second person has died following a fatal crash on Christmas Day.
Jade Fenhaus, 20, of Rapid City died January 2, according to his obituary. Jamie Sayler, 31, of Rapid City was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred Saturday morning, December 25, when an SUV left the roadway and struck a pole on East Highway 44 and Center Street.
A third occupant was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
The department posted after the crash to say “it is believed alcohol and drugs are both factors in the crash.”
