RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota girls tennis season opened on Friday with a handful of matches.
Rapid City Stevens opened the season strong with a victory over Aberdeen Central.
The Raiders won five singles matches and all three doubles matches to take an 8-1 win.
Stevens got singles victories from Alastrina Scott, Anna Mueller, Abby Sherill, Emma Thurness and Kaiya Parkin.
Scott/Thurness, along with Sherill/Parkin and Mueller/Scott got doubles victories.
