RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens held on to their lead Saturday and captured the team title of the Rapid City Invitational Wrestling Tournament.
The Raiders finished on top with 215 points. Watertown was second with 192.5 points. Harrisburg was third with 185 points, Pierre was fourth with 177.5 and Sturgis rounded out the top five with 171.5.
Stevens advanced four wrestlers into the finals winning three individual titles.
The champions were Corbin Zent at 106 pounds, Jack Schoenhard at 120 and Logan Graf at 126.
For Sturgis, Reese Jacobs finished second at 170, Kelton Olson got third at 132, and Aiden Werlinger got third at 195.
In the girls bracket for Sturgis, Brooklyn Brant captured the 120 pound title, Brooklyn Baird got third at 113 and Madison Snyder placed fourth at 126.
