RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Area School Board on Monday night voted to begin their new school year under a Level 2.
The board voted 4-3 on the plan.
Starting under a Level 2 means kids with last names beginning A-K will attend on Tuesday, September 8th and Wednesday, September 9th. Students with last names beginning L-Z will attend Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11.
Then, in a typical five day week in Level 2, students with last names beginning A-K will attend on Monday and Tuesday and students with last names beginning L-Z will attend Wednesday and Thursday.
The district says Friday will be an E-learning Day. The day will also be used as a day for thorough cleaning and disinfecting.
