RCPD Arrest driver of stolen car that crashed into house

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police have arrested the driver of a stolen car that crashed into a home earlier this week.

Police say 20-year-old Jade Fenhaus was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of an injury accident, failure to yield, theft of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and three warrants.

Officers were initially dispatched to the 500 block of Saint Andrew Street on Monday for a report of an unknown injury accident.

The accident was reported to be a vehicle that caused an accident with a motorcycle prior to striking a home in the area. Witnesses reported seeing several occupants abandoning the vehicle.

After collecting witness statements, RCPD Officers were able to identify the driver of the vehicle as Fenhaus.

He was booked into the Pennington County jail.
