RCPD investigating hit and run involving pedestrian

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police are investigating a hit and run incident involving a pedestrian.

Police say at around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, they responded to a car-vs-pedestrian crash at the intersection of E. North Street and Pine Street.

They found the pedestrian unresponsive and rushed them to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses reported that a light-colored sedan hit the pedestrian and fled the scene.
