UNDATED – Hill City captured the boys Region 6B team title, punching their ticket to the State Class B Golf Tournament.
The Rangers finished with a 265 to take top honors. Wall and White River tied for second with a 271 and by rule, both teams will advance to the state tournament.
Winning the 6B individual medal was Wyatt Larson of McIntosh, scoring a 75. Masique Carley of Philip was second with an 85 and T.J. Beardt of White River was third one stroke back. Hill City’s Leo Daiss was fourth and his teammate David Hubacher rounded out the top five.
In the girls’ 6B Regional, Bison claimed the team title with a 320 and Jones County placed second. The top two teams qualify for state.
Allison Kahler of Bison won the individual title with an 84. Her teammate Greta Anderson was second one stroke back. Kamri Kittleson of Jones County placed third, Kelsi Clements of Newell was fourth and Mary Carmichael of Bison rounded out the top five.
