Reva Jean (Byrne) Good was born April 4, 1951 in Martin, SD to James and Beulah (Klingaman) Byrne. She grew up and attended elementary school in Vetal/Harrington, SD. She then went on to attend and graduate from High School in Martin.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Good June 24, 1972 in Martin. They made their home in Philip, SD where Reva worked at Philip Health Services for over 20 years. In 2004 Jerry and she moved to New Underwood, SD. Later she moved into Box Elder in 2017 where she has since resided.
Reva enjoyed crafting, and she became an expert, at least in her child’s eyes, making cute wreaths out of ribbon and flowers. She taught herself how to crochet, and was handy with a needle and thread until she got herself a sewing machine. Her most favorite activity was spending time with her family. She never missed an opportunity to see the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three children: Lorin (Tammy) Good of Watford City, ND, Gary (Cindy) Good of Piedmont, and Angela (Eric McIntosh) Good of Huron; two grandchildren Bradey (Tessa Markham) Good of Piedmont and Devan (Haven Huck) Good of Black Hawk; six great-grandchildren: Harmony, Jameson, Remington, and Jaxton Good and Aaliyah and Easton Good; brother Donnie (Shirley) Byrne of Miles City, MT; sister Kathy (Floyd) Peterson of Hermosa; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry on March 26, 2016; her parents; brother Leroy Byrne; and sisters Rosalee Thompson and Joyce Butcher.
Arrangements are with Rush Funeral Home of Philip.
