Rodlan M. Walgamuth, 46, Belle Fource, SD, passed away at his home on February 9, 2024.
Humble, sweet and gentle, Rod was one of a kind. Talented and creative, he loved experiencing life which led him to hold
various jobs throughout his life. From corrections officer at CABH to operating and managing a home medical equipment facility, to corporate compliance officer at Rotech for several
years.
Later he found his niche when he was hired by Jeff Pope to care for his Percheron draft horses on a ranch east of Belle Fourche. Animals were his passion and all animals were drawn
to him.
He was loved by all who knew him and missed so very deeply; the world will never be the same without him.
Rod has now joined his father, Ron Walgamuth; grandparents, Francis and Sylvia Remington and Roland and Frances Walgamuth; and his fur ever friend, ‘Molly Wog’.
He is survived by his mother, Karla Aplin; step-father, Pat Aplin; sister, Bradie Paschall; brother, Royal Walgamuth; nieces, Maranda and Royale, and several cousins.
A memorial has been established.
