SDSU’s Tucker Kraft of Timber Lake drafted by Green Bay Packers

TIMBER LAKE, S.D – Former South Dakota State University (SDSU) standout tight end and Timber Lake native, Tucker Kraft has been selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Kraft was drafted by the Green Bay Packers with the 78th overall pick of the third round. Kraft is the first West River high school graduate in 30 years to be drafted. It’s the first time the Packers have drafted two tight ends in the same draft since 2011, when Green Bay selected Arkansas’ D.J. Williams and North Carolina’s Ryan Taylor.
