OAHE, S.D. – In Independence League action, the Spearfish Sasquatch got out to a 7 run lead in the sixth inning and held on for a 7-5 win over the Oahe Zap Tuesday night.
Spearfish tallied 10 hits in the game and were led by Dylan Darnell who went 2-5 with 2 runs batted in. Daniel Cook and Ryan Bachman also had a pair of hits each.
The two teams meet for a series of games in Spearfish beginning tonight. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
