SPEARFISH, S.D. – In Independence League action, the Spearfish Sasquatch dropped a high scoring 14-10 battle to Oahe Wednesday night.
Patrick Rakes led Spearfish with four hits. Cade Bridges took the loss for Spearfish, going two and one third innings, allowing six runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one.
Julius Kass earned the win for the Zap, giving up just one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one.
The two teams meet again in Spearfish tonight.
