OAHE, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch opened up their series with the Oahe Zap Monday with a heartbreaking 6-5 loss.
Spearfish lost the lead late after the game was tied in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The Sasquatch took the loss despite outhitting Oahe 13 to 9. Kyle Phin and Seth Nelson each collected three hits for the Sasquatch, who fall to 24-15 on the year.
The two teams meet again on Wednesday.
