SPEARFISH, S.D. – Jordan Boman drove in five runs on five hits to lead Spearfish past Bison Baseball iLB 23-2 on Wednesday in Independence League action.
Boman hit a home run to center field in the second scoring two, singled in the fourth scoring one, singled in the fifth scoring one, and doubled in the sixth scoring one.
Nathan Harb earned the win for Spearfish. The righty gave up four hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Takashi took the loss for Bison Baseball. The right-handed pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking three. Phin began the game for Spearfish. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking two.
The Sasquatch iLB amassed 19 hits in the game.
