Sasquatch split with Fremont over the weekend

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch wrapped up weekend play, as well as their season, with the Fremont Moo.

The Sasquatch on Saturday edged out the Moo by the score of 10-9.

Javier Marcial singled in the bottom of the tenth inning with the game tied to bring in the winning run. Marcial drove in four runs on the night to lead the Sasquatch.

On Sunday, Spearfish needed to beat Fremont in order to make the Independence League Playoffs.

However, the Moo rolled to a 15-6 win over Spearfish.

Spearfish finishes the 2024 season with a 30-20 record.
