RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Stevens Raider Baseball Team is headed to the State Tournament after a series win over rival Rapid City Central.
Stevens rolled over the Cobblers by the score of 18 to 1 on Saturday to win their best of 3 series 2 games to none.
The Raiders scored early and often on Saturday.
Ethan Wilson was 3-for-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs and Colton Morlang also had 3 RBIs including a two-run homer in the third inning.
Morlang also pitched four innings and give up two hits, walked one and had 8 strike outs.
Rapid City Stevens will face O’Gorman in the first round of the State ‘A’ baseball tournament on Friday, May 24 at 12 p.m. MT.
