Saturday COVID-19 report – 238 new cases, hospitalizations back up over 100

PIERRE, S.D. – Health officials reported 238 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, with 63 of them considered as probable.

Active cases of the virus dropped by 52 Saturday to 2,413.

The number of people hospitalized, however, went back up over 100 today to 102.

No new deaths were reported.

Across the Black Hills area, there were 23 new cases.

Pennington County had 14 new cases, Custer County added five and there were 2 new cases each in Meade and Oglala Lakota Counties.

The labels of the affected products don’t obviously bear the Cargill name, the processing plant where the product was produced. Many are branded under the “All Natural” label.
