UNDATED – In area college basketball action Saturday, the BHSU men picked up a close win over Chadron State.
After a close first half, the Yellow Jackets were able to pull away late and pick up a 93-87 victory.
Trey Whitley led the Jackets in scoring with 28 points.
Meanwhile, the Lady Yellow Jacks had little trouble with Chadron State as they cruised to a 72-49 victory.
Racquel Wientjes led BHSU in scoring with 13 points and was one of four Yellow Jackets scoring in double figures.
Meanwhile, the South Dakota School of Mines men and women basketball teams both picked up wins.
The Hardrocker men rolled to a 74-55 win ove MSU-Denver. The women cruised to a 61-35 victory over the Roadrunners.
