UNDATED – In Legion Baseball action on Saturday, the Sturgis Titans were on the road in Nebraska for a pair of games.
The Titans dropped both games to Sioux Falls West and the Harrisburg Maroon squad.
Sioux Falls West picked up an 11-1 win in the first game and the Harrisburg Maroon squad defeated Sturgis 10-0. The Titans split their Friday games, getting a 7-6 win over Tabor before dropping a 12-0 game to Hartington, Nebraska.
In other Legion action, Rapid City Post 22 stayed hot, winning a pair of games on Saturday over Casper.
The Hardhats won game one over the Oilers by the score of 11-5 and won game two by the score of 7-6. The two teams meet for another doubleheader Sunday.
And, Spearfish Post 164 got two wins on Saturday. The Spartans defeated the Post 144 Knights on a seventh inning double Cody Chapman to win 4-3.
Spearfish also won a tight contest over the Douglas Cats 11-10 as Chapman again was the hero, smacking a single that scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning. Spearfish will play Douglas again on Sunday.
