STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper boys soccer team ended the regular season by saluting their senior players and drubbing Douglas/RC Christian/New Underwood 9-4 at Woodle Field.
Talan Kullbom set a new Scooper boys record by recording 11 assists in the win.
The Scoopers will host the Huron Tigers on Tuesday night in the first round of the Class AA Boys Soccer Playoffs. Game time is 4:00 p.m. and can be heard on the Big 81, KBHB.
The Scooper Girls also celebrated Senior Day with a win, as they beat the Patriots 3-2. The Girls will enter the Class AA postseason as the 14th seed and will travel to Rapid City Central on Tuesday night.
