BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – The Hill City Rangers captured the title of the Belle Fourche Tournament Saturday.
The Rangers won all three of their matches in pool play. They then defeated Custer in the semifinals to secure a matchup with Beulah, N.D., in the tournament championship at Edwin Petranek Armory. The Rangers then went on to defeat Beulah in two sets for the championship.
The Scoopers also participated in the tournament and went 2-1 with wins over Wall and Edgemont and a loss to Bowman.
