RAPID CITY, S.D. – Play continued Saturday at the annual Firecracker Tournament in Rapid City.
The Post 22 Hardhats wrapped up pool play with a 9-7 loss to Thunder Academy of Broomfield, Colorado.
Post 22 scored two runs in the seventh inning to tie it up at seven apiece. But Thunder Academy answered in the eighth inning and went on to beat the Hardhats, 9-7.
Post 22 finished 2-3 in pool play after the loss.
