BOX ELDER, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper Competitive Cheer team captured the grand champion title at Saturday’s Douglas Invitational.
The Scoopers finished on top with a score of 211.
The home team Patriots came in second with a 191 and St Thomas More placed third with a 175.
Belle Fourche and Hot Springs rounded out the top five.
Winner won the Grand Champion Dance with a cumulative total of 432.5.
Winner won the Jazz Dance category, Spearfish won the Pom and Hot Springs claimed the Hip-Hop Category.
