Scooper Soccer Teams Swept by Warriors

STURGIS, SD – The Sioux Falls Washington Warrior soccer teams visited Woodle Field on Saturday and went home with two victories.

The Washington girls came back from a two goal deficit in the first half to defeat the Scoopers, 4-3. Berkley Gill scored two goals for Sturgis, with Lily Aga adding one score. The Scooper girls fall to 0-3 on the season.

The Scoopers trailed Washington in the boys match 2-1 at the end of the first half and couldn’t overcome that deficit, falling 5-2 to the Warriors. Sturgis falls to 0-3 on the year.

The Scooper boys and girls travel to Pierre on Thursday to take on the Pierre Governors.
