Scooper softball falls to Rapid City Stevens

STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis softball celebrated Senior Night in Rapid City Thursday after their last home game of the season got weathered out last week.

Sturgis started strong against Stevens as Keely Heikes hit a grand slam to give them a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.

But that would be the biggest offensive firework for Sturgis the rest of the way as the Raiders scored 17 runs in the third to claim a 21-5 victory in four innings.
