LEAD, SD — The Sturgis Scooper volleyball squad earned their third win of the 2022 season with a three-set victory over the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers on Thursday evening.

Sturgis shutout Lead-Deadwood 25-16, 25-14, 25-12.

The Scoopers (3-19) were led by Faith King, who had 11 kills, 10 assists and three aces. Norah Iverson added six aces, three kills and one block.

Sturgis is in action next on Saturday as they travel to Red Cloud to take on the Lady Crusaders.
