Scoopers draw Tea in first round of baseball playoffs

UNDATED – The 2024 South Dakota High School Baseball Association Super Regionals get underway tomorrow.

The Sturgis Scoopers go into the tournament as the 9^th seed and will play at Tea. Game one in the best of three series is Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. Mountain time. Game two is set for Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time and game three, if necessary, would be played immediately following Game two.

In other matchups, Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central will play each other as the #5 and #12 seed respectively. Game one is set for Friday night at 5:00 p.m. Mountain time with Game two set for Saturday at noon. Game three, if necessary, would be played following Game two.

The top four seeds automatically qualify for the state tournament.
