RAPID CITY, S.D. – The SD Grassland Coalition is holding its annual conference this year in Rapid City. This year’s meeting theme is Managing South Dakota’s Grasslands for Profitability and The Next Generation.
A fully day of learning, networking, and inspiration tailored for ranchers, land managers, and ag professionals is on the agenda.
The event will include keynote speakers, interactive breakout sessions, and practical insights on building a sustainable ranching operation.
The focus will be on profitability, land management, and succession strategies to ensure long-term success, all geared for attendees to gain valuable insights, strategies, and tools.
Keynote speakers at the event being held at the Holiday Inn Downtown include Clay Conry, Working Cows Podcast Host. He’ll be sharing his insights on leadership in ranching—from managing land and animals to finances and people. Natalie Kovarik, Cattle Rancher & Agriculture Advocate will explore how cultural movements—from the push to make America healthy again to the fascination with raw milk—are shaping consumer demand, influencing policy, and impacting public perceptions of agriculture, and Dr. Tom Noffsinger, a Nebraska cattle producer and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine will speak to grazing practices and profitability.
