RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Little League Tournament is underway in Rapid City at the Timberline Baseball Complex.
Four teams are battling for a spot in the upcoming Midwest Region Tournament in early August in Indiana.
In game 1 Thursday, Canyon Lake fell behind 9-3 to Sioux Falls, but came back to the get the 10-9 win.
In game 2, The Rapid City Youth Baseball Team defeated Capital City, Pierre, by the score of 4-0.
The Friday schedule features Canyon Lake taking on Rapid City Youth Baseball Team at 5:00 p.m. The winner of that game earns a spot in the Sunday championship game.
The second game Friday will have Sioux Falls playing Capital City with the loser eliminated from the tournament.
