SD Tourism to provide speaker to provide visitation training

UNDATED – This is “National Travel and Tourism Week” and as part of that, South Dakota Tourism Department Secretary Jim Hagen says they are bringing in a speaker to provide visitation training around the state.

Hagen says tourism businesses will face many of the same problems this year.

Hagen says those who work at visitor related businesses deserve a lot of credit.

In 2022, tourism generated over three hundred sixty million dollars in state tax revenues.
