Search for missing hunter resumes Friday

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says they will be out searching for a missing hunter again today.

The search for 66-year-old Larry Genzlinger wrapped up Thursday night after several hours of searching. Roughly 35 people are helping search along with several dog teams, about a dozen horseback riders, a South Dakota National Guard helicopter and a Civil Air Patrol drone.

Genzlinger has been missing since Tuesday, when he failed to meet up with his nephew after elk hunting in the Deerfield Lake area.
