Semi-truck accident shuts down eastbound lanes of I-90 Wednesday evening

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A double-trailer semi truck accident yesterday evening led to the closure of the eastbound lanes of I-90 just outside Rapid City.

The highway patrol was re-routing traffic onto Exit 52 to get around the crash because the truck was blocking the entire eastbound lane of I-90.

The truck was upright, but its second trailer had tipped over in the ditch.

The lanes were closed for several hours as crews worked to remove the truck.

There were no reports of injuries.
