STURGIS, S.D. – Meade County Sheriff Pat West on Friday announcemed the promotion of Sergeant Caleb Deyo to the rank of Captain, with the Meade County Sheriffs Office.
Capt. Deyo began his career with the Meade County Sheriff Office in 2002 after graduating from Chadron State College.
Capt. Deyo has served in all areas of the Sheriff’s Office, and was promoted to Sergeant in 2015. With this promotion, Capt. Deyo will be in charge of the Civil Section and oversee all Jail Operations.
Capt. Deyo lives in Summerset with his wife and son.
