RAPID CITY, S.D. – a three vehicle collision resulted in a man being arrested for possession of meth Thursday.
The accident happened around 8: 00 a.m. when John Huhn, 26, of Rapid City drove his vehicle out of his lane, into oncoming traffic while headed westbound on Catron Boulevard. Huhn’s vehicle struck two vehicles in the oncoming lanes.
One of the drivers hit by Huhn was sent to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
As part of their investigation, police say a syringe found on Huhn tested positive for meth. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Pennington County jail.
The crash closed down east and westbound traffic on Catron from Sheridan Lake Road to Highway 16 for an hour.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A three-vehicle crash shut down both lanes of a section of Catron Boulevard in Rapid City Thursday morning.
Rapid City Police say the crash closed down east and westbound traffic on Catron from Sheridan Lake Road to Highway 16 due to debris on the road.
The crash occurred around 8:00 a.m. near Catron and Nugget Gulch Road. Police spokesman Brenden Medina says they were able to clear the area around 9:00 a.m.
