Sidney Pulaski

Heaven has a new Elvis singer. Sidney Pulaski (Daddy-o to James) passed away on December 4, 2023, at Ft. Meade, SD, VA. after a courageous battle with a brain injury. He was surrounded by family. He grew up in Michigan and Wisconsin. He moved quite a bit with the military but made his “home’ South Dakota. Sid is remembered as being an avid singer, working on cars, and traveling as much as he could. He was a free spirit and passed that on to his children. He liked to wander about talking to anyone who would listen, because he was just that kind of guy and he never met stranger. – Melissa. He was the kind of guy who talked to everyone in a restaurant and was happy to help all. No one was left out.
He is preceded in death by his father, Sidney Pulaski; mother, Hildreth Pulaski, and six siblings. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Pulaski; daughter, Christine Pulaski; son, James Pulaski; son, Lawrence Pulaski (Ashleigh); and daughter, Melissa Pulaski; his grandchildren, James’ child, Mary Floyd (Kyle), Jacqueline Beer (Mike) and family, Christine’s child, Mattias Didriksen (Arina), Melissa’s two children, Lawrence’s children, Harrison Pulaski, and Annika Pulaski. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Pulaski; sister-in-law, Catherine Luedtke; niece, Kaylene (Justin) James; Kaylene’s children, Nala Maa, Niijama Maat, and Hiawatha Maat; his nephew, Glen Cychosz; Meriam and their children, Rebecca Cychosz, Ardin Cychosz, and Ricky Cychosz.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Our Lady of the Black Hills, Piedmont, SD at 3:00 p.m. with liturgy service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
