STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper girls soccer team celebrated senior night Tuesday with a 4-2 win over Belle Fourche
Avery Marler scored three goals for Sturgis in the first half and the Scoopers led 3-0 at halftime.
Belle Fourche would answer with two quick goals to start the second half, but the Scoopers added an insurance goal and went on to win.
In other soccer action Tuesday, Rapid City Central squared off against Stevens on Tuesday in boys and girls soccer.
After jumping out to a 4-1 lead in the second half, the Rapid City Stevens girls soccer team was able to stave off a potential comeback by the Central Cobblers and prevail, 4-3.
Ava Holzworth led the Raiders with two goals.
In the boys game, Rapid City Stevens defeated Central on Tuesday night for the second time this season.
The Raiders shut out the Cobblers, 7-0.
Four different players scored for the Raiders.
